Dinosaur & Fossil Exhibits

Dinosaurs: Giants of the Past

Step into a world ruled by giants in The Muse’s Dinosaur and Fossil Hall, where the prehistoric age comes to life! Our Dinosaur Section invites visitors to explore the incredible creatures that once dominated the land, sea, and sky.

Discover real dinosaur fossils, tracks, and replicas that reveal how these ancient animals lived, moved, and thrived millions of years ago. From towering predators to gentle plant-eaters, each display highlights the diversity and adaptation of these magnificent species.

Follow the timeline of the Mesozoic Era — from the Triassic beginnings of early dinosaurs, through the Jurassic age of giants, to the dramatic end of the Cretaceous. Learn how paleontologists uncover clues from bones, footprints, and fossils to piece together the story of life long before humans.

Engaging displays and interactive exhibits make this journey through deep time an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you’re standing beside a massive fossil cast, examining a real tooth from a carnivorous dinosaur, or tracing a set of ancient tracks, you’ll come face-to-face with the mystery and majesty of Earth’s most iconic creatures.

Come discover the world of Baby Trex and friends — where curiosity roars to life!

Real Dinosaur Teeth!

Spinosaurus Teeth – Evidence of a River Hunter

These fossilized teeth belonged to Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, one of the largest known carnivorous dinosaurs, living about 95 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period.
Unlike most theropod dinosaurs, Spinosaurus had long, conical teeth without serrated edges. This unique shape was ideal for gripping slippery prey such as fish, rather than tearing flesh. The smooth, curved teeth acted much like the teeth of modern crocodiles, helping Spinosaurus hold onto struggling animals in river environments.

The discovery of these teeth provides important clues about the dinosaur’s feeding habits and habitat, supporting the idea that Spinosaurus was a semi-aquatic predator that spent much of its time hunting in water.

Fossils: Stories Written in Stone

In The Muse’s Dinosaur and Fossil Hall, the Fossil Section reveals the ancient story of life on Earth — a story preserved in stone over hundreds of millions of years.

Here, visitors can explore an extraordinary collection of fossilized fish, trilobites, cephalopods, ammonites, coral, plant impressions, and more, each offering a glimpse into the world long before the age of dinosaurs and beyond.

Every fossil tells a chapter in Earth’s history — from the shallow seas where early marine creatures thrived to the lush landscapes once walked by giant reptiles. Learn how fossils form, how scientists uncover them, and what they reveal about our planet’s changing climate, environments, and evolution of life.

See the fine details of shells, bones, and tracks preserved through time, and marvel at how these remnants help us understand both the past and the processes that continue to shape our world today.

Whether you’re a budding paleontologist or simply curious about the wonders of natural history, the Fossil Section invites you to look closer, think deeper, and uncover the ancient secrets written in stone.
